A ca. 1848 mill building on the banks of the Salmon Falls River is home to StrathamWood Studios
Tools and equipment are no substitute for knowledge and skills however a well equipped workshop at the disposal of the craftsman allows for the efficient execution of the design.
The large windows in the east wall of the workshop overlook the Salmon Falls River and provide excellent natural light to the workbenches in the bench area of the shop. While the machine tools like the jointer and planer perform are essential for milling and stock preparation virtually all materials are further refined with hand planes and other hand tools.
