A mahogany gentlemen’s chest with a birdseye maple top panel. The maple panel is surrounded by a distinctive banding of holly and ebony and blue dyed holly. This banding was created during the creation of the Boardman table and is an exact reproduction of the banding used on the original table ca 1815.
Additional accents of curly maple and ebony add an elegant look. The interior is lined with leather on the bottom and has a captive sliding tray for small collectables or jewelry. A solid brass lock and solid brass feet complete the case.
